Sales Team Lead
Position Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, motivate and advise the sales team how to improve their performance, as well as train new Sales Representatives.
- Develop sales strategies to reach new customers and also grab the attention of existing customers to boost sales in the department.
- Set sales goals for individual(s) and team, analyse data on past performance, and project future performance.
- Attend and support crucial client meetings while mentoring and managing the Sales Representatives.
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Possess deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition and proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of company products and industry knowledge to be able to guide the team through difficult customer negotiations.
- Follow up and solve problem customers by developing innovative and tailored sales solutions
- Develop a relationship with and provide service and products to existing customers to ensure the customers are retained and improve customer loyalty.
- Develop and close large sales opportunities.
- Work with internal departments such as the Marketing and Communication teams to engage audiences and clients more deeply including exhibition and roadshow.
- Concluding co-operation contracts and subsequent care for key customers.
- Evaluating, upgrading and improving the company sales processes.
- Develop a relationship with and provide service and products to existing customers to ensure the customers are retained and improve customer loyalty.
- Use CRM system to key transactions and manage customer data.
- Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the management from time to time.
Position Requirements
- High school certification or Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration / Marketing / Mass Communication or equivalent with STRONG interests in Sales or Marketing.
- At least two (2) years of working experience in the related field required for this position.
- Proactive working attitude, great patience with a pleasant personality and positive service mindset at all times.
- Team player that is result oriented with good communication skill in English. Knowledge of Mandarin and Malay is a plus.
- Able to execute instructions well and work effectively under pressure.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
- Effective Networker.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Independent and able to work in a team with minimal supervision.
- Computer literate.
- Willing to work 5.5 days a week.
- Applicants must be willing to work at Sentul, Kuala Lumpur.
